About Us.
Frostbridge Productions is a filmmaking partnership from Motueka, Te Tau Ihu - top of the South Island, New Zealand. Made up of Writer / Director / Producer Nathan Green and Producer and
Art Director Jaci Brown.

We produce narrative based film and theatre works, with the help of local actors and crew and a smattering of national talent.
​​
Our ambition is to 'stepping stone' from project to project, developing our own and our team's skills, while telling vital, dramatic, visually stunning stories based in Motueka and environs. We are blessed to live in a naturally cinematic area, a poignant backdrop for great storytelling.

Currently in pre-production for Frostbridge Productions:
"Kismet", a 10-12 minute short film, set on an orchard in Motueka.

Why Frostbridge?
​
In September 1944 The British 1st Airborne Division held Arnhem Bridge for
3 days and 3 nights against the armored might of the 9th SS Panzer Division. The bridge was held by one Battalion, the 2nd, and a few other small units, numbering only around 300 men. They valiantly held on, until the houses they were in were blasted from beneath them and they finally ran out of ammunition. The remnants scattered, most were captured, and some escaped. They were commanded by Lt.Col. John Frost, and after the war the bridge they had held was named 'Frostbrugge' (Frostbridge in English) in his honour. Those men are my heroes and an inspiration - an amazing story - as told in the film

Nathan Green
Nathan writes authentic, powerful stories, steeped in Te Tai O Aorere - the Motueka and Tasman area. Drama filled and authentically Kiwi, these stories roll forward stridently. From family dramas to action comedy to a savage little tragedy, they resonate deeply.
Nathan brings a familiarity with the craft of acting to his role as Writer / Director. By moving confidently from project to project, he develops his skill in those roles; each project growing one after the other in scope and complexity. As a self taught filmmaker, he brings a deep love and understanding of story, performance and the art of visual storytelling.
Jaci Brown
Jaci Brown spent her former career as a chef, working largely in Wellington, with a focus on French and Italian Cuisine.
She now volunteers as a curator and 'Jaci of all trades', preparing Museum displays, restoring and repairing antiques, tools and machinery at the Motueka Tractor World Museum.
She also acts as researcher, finding the provenance of various items some even from the 19th Century. As one half of Frostbridge Productions, she is a Producer, researcher and the head of Art department.
